Day 2

The bloody sunrise steals over the horizon, ending the horrible night. The howls of Wolves and mortal cries of Villagers filled your dreams. You all fore go your morning tasks and assemble in the Town Square when the Church bell rings. All except one of you. Obliterated by the gaze of the dreaded Werehampster, what remains of the Woodcutter [info]herufeanor is only the ashen smear of his outline.

Summary: [info]herufeanor the VILLAGER is DEAD. You have until 11AM Thursday to decide whom to lynch.

Hmm that means that

1) the werewolves attacked the werehamster
2) the werewolves attacked someone protected by the bodyguard
3) the werewolves attacked someone and the witch saved them
4) the werewolves attacked the afflicted

am I missing any other possibility? that's far too many already . . .

I think that answers my question...

So the fact that only one person is listed as dead here means that the wolfies DID try for someone and failed.

Witchy

I was the one who got "eaten" last night, and I saved myself. Which means I'm the nose twitching witch of the west.

I've never been attacked this early on before, so I'm trying to think who might have a personal vendetta against me.

Looking at the other wine:

1) the werewolves attacked someone and there's a 3 out of 4 chance it failed
2) they could have attacked kraydon and she could be the witch and saved herself
3) they could have attacked kraydon and she was the werehamster and the attack failed
4) if she was the werehamster she could be claiming to be the witch now as we and (depending on how joel does it) possibly the wolves might not know what went wrong
5) herufeanor died last night at the hands of the werehamster
6) I once had a wolf live in Millers Hollow who use to like eating people named herufeanor
7) course herufeanor is a good target for any werehamster to attack as it gives absolutely no new evidence (unless the werehamster is kraydon)
8) if kraydon was not the witch and is the werehamster, it is unlikely the true witch would step forward so soon as they still have both potions and would likely be dead before being able to use both

Well, let's see...

If Kraydon really is the witch, then the situation seems pretty straight-forward. If she thinks the wolves are likely to attack her again, then her poison just got a very short shelf life. It's risky to use it while the villager-to-wolf ratio is still so high, but she may not get another chance. In the end: it's her call whether to use it.

If, on the other hand, Kraydon is lying, then she's either a wolf or the hamster. Technically, she could be just another villager, but I don't think we've yet had any villagers commit this very short sighted mistake. In either case, the real witch has a perfect target for his/her poison and should use it as soon as possible. If she survives the poison, then the real witch can out her as the hamster the next day and still make use of his/her healing potion that night, maybe later if the bodyguard intervenes.

In short, I believe it's safe to say that Kraydon is either the real witch, the hamster, or dead by dawn. Here's hoping it's the first one.

That took awhile to read through...just to find out [info]evilben is not one of the LOVERS.

If [info]kraydon is the witch, then maybe the BODYGUARD should protect her tonight since she will be a known villager and therefore a target.
