Game Three: Day One

The Werewolves have returned to the Village. The howling over the last few days was but a harbinger of their return. Now, the splayed corpse of the Innkeeper [info]joelzero is being removed from his half demolished cottage. The Church bell rings its familiar, mournful tone, calling the Village to the Square to discuss the heinous Werewolf slaying of the Innkeeper.

SUMMARY: There are 3 WEREWOLVES, 2 independent SEERS, a WITCH, an AFFLICTED, a RALPH NADER, and five honest VILLAGERS in the Village. You must vote to lynch someone by "sunset" which is Thursday July 6th.

No justification or anything, huh? Seems suspicious to me.

I vote [info]gnatdbug, simply because his past playing has been chaotic and not at all aimed at a villager win, even in the cases where he was a villager.

vote maniakes

because by his own admission, he makes a better wolf than he does villager.

so what do us villagers have to lose.

and what did I do to you last game? . . . oh wait, was that the game I outed you as a werewolf and had you lynched . . . that's a good reason to vote for me if you were a werewolf again . . .

Strategy suggestions for seers: Since there's two of you, the first seer should probably out immediately when you find a wolf. The witch will protect you, so you'll get at least one more look.

Vote Daedalus4096 because I believe in fighting the newborn mob against Maniakes.

I find your definition of "mob" awfully generous. Three people out of thirteen does not a mob make, especially if at least one person is almost guaranteed to change their vote.

Jinkies! I don't remember when the voting closes. Is it 9am or 11am?

I'm going to vote in case I still can, recognizing that I might not be in time...

I don't want to cast against [info]parzanese just yet (even though I agree with [info]gpeefalt that he is often snarky)... so I will go with the flow and vote maniakes only because if I cast for one of the other two, it will give a chance for maniakes to swing and cause a tie, which costs us 2 villagers tonight.

hey now, I politely didn't officially vote for you, and here you are saying you plan on eventually voting for me . . . see what happens when you try to be nice and change? . . . there's gratitude . . .

For the record:

Logic or no logic, this is the last time I'm taking one for the team the first round. I can't make a habit of it, because otherwise I'll only be able to survive the first round by claiming to be a special.

What a wolfy thing to say ;)

Traditionally people who _never_ post tend to be villagers who've gotten too busy with their everyday lives to participate. One has more motivation to engage in debate if one is a wolf.
