Day 5
A lone Werewolf howled mournfully last night, rage mingled with sorrow. The Village gathers in the square, but the Witch is no longer among you. You easily find the cottage of
kraydon. Her headless body is crumpled in the corner. Her head is mounted to the wall and stuffed with her own dried herbs. This is by far the strangest Werewolf attack you have seen thus far.
Summary:
kraydon the WITCH is DEAD.

Remeber that at this point, as far as
kraydon as WITCH
flipperchaz as HUNTER
hungryandhollow as BODYGUARD (and unattackable Lover)
pianorain as NADER
the1mouse as MARTYR
herufeanor as VILLAGER
evilben as VILLAGER
princeofwands as CUPID
gnatdbug as fellow WOLF
stride as fellow WOLF
amphitrite27 as HAMSTER (that failed attack on night2)
Leaving the following players and roles:
pergatorigirl, parzanese, perkyevil, girlpurple, gpeefalt
and villager, afflicted, seer, and two masons.
Of the living characters, the lone remaining wolf stands to directly gain only from a kill of the bodyguard, afflicted, or the seer. However, letting the seer live for a while in hopes of getting rid of the hamster is a useful gamble. And since our remaining wolf was one of the lovers, killing the lover Bodyguard was literally a suicide move.
Killing a mason wasn't at this point any more useful than any other villager (the Cupid, Witch, or the ramaining plain Villager). There was no more credability to gain or lose by getting one mason and not the other. Incidentally, there was that late in the game no good reason for either of the MASONS to claim to be a plain villager - especialy in the face of possibly getting lynched. (I've assumed for a while that
Of 5 candidates that might be the AFFLICTED, only one had come out and claimed to be "just a plain old villagear"... better odds aiming for one of the 2 "plain villagers" (and maybe accidentally getting the seer) than going for the 1 in 5 blind pick.
Add to that consideration of action just from the last round: all of

basically, you're more likely to be the afflicted because you were the only one who said you were a plain old villager when daedalus (that wolf, i spit on his grave) was around . . . gpeefalt didn't say this and thus had a better chance of being the seer or a mason then you did . . .
oh and thanks for not eating me last night . . . I appreciate it . . .

um, hello? Think about this...
If I was the afflicted, it would have made much more sense for me to have killed you or princeorwands last night because you have both been trying to convince the others to off me.Look at who did get killed last night -- kraydon -- the ONLY person who voted against gpeefalt yesterday. Why would I have killed her? She was one of the few players who hadn't been gunning for me.

Losing your evil touch
Waiting more than a minute between those two posts would have improved the effect. Your timing needs work, Mr. Mayor.September 12 2005, 23:47:16 UTC 6 years ago
Either of you might have been the SEER, but it was more likely that he was one of the still unidentified MASONS.
There's not much to sway the vote between you two. You're nearly equally suspect, but with very little to go on, it doesn't that sway happens with whatever little there is.

If I am the afflicted, why would I have chosen to kill kraydon last night? She's the only one who voted for gpeefalt yesterday and one of the few remaining players who hasn't voted against me.
The most logical target would have been either you or parzanese. You've both been very clear that I am high on your list of suspects and have both incited the others to lynch me before.

Last night's kill didn't matter at all as long as it wasn't the HUNTER:
Of the remaining four of us targets, who could
However, I imagine that a scared, doomed, nasty wolf would feel more hostile toward either
However, if I were a calm strategic thinking wolf, I might have killed
If we've truly got the wrong person here, then I'm terribly sorry -- but we were all going to hell already anyway - why not get there early for the good seats?
