Day 3

You waken from your troubled sleep by the bell's toll. The Farmer [info]pianorain's corpse is green and bloated, his own hands to his throat. The poisonous breath of the Werehamster has killed him. On his nightcap is a "Green Party" pin.

The sky outside is dark, and the air smells like rain. Storm clouds choke the dim red light from the sunrise, and a distant rumble rolls across the Village.

EDIT The Innkeeper shows up, panting heavily. "The Gravedigger....he..." Everyone runs to [info]gnatdbug's shack to find a Werewolf, unmoving and clutching his neck. Under his fur his skin has a greenish tinge, a victim of the Witch's poison.

Summary: [info]pianorain the RALPH NADER is DEAD. EDIT [info]gnatdbug the WEREWOLF is DEAD.

Thank you, even if it was just a random claim game assertion.

princeofwands claims he can prove he's not a wolf, which is seeming to hold sway with others (though I notice that he doesn't say he's not the hamster).

Right now, I'm leaning towards pergatorigirl. I have no evidence towards anyone, so i'm picking basically at random. Thoughts? Pergatorigirl, anything in your defense? Anyone see something I'm missing?

pergatorigirl was one of the first people to place a vote against gnatdbug yesterday . . . not that that exonerates her or anything, but it was when the vote could have gone towards anyone as almost no votes were cast . . . she then never showed up again I think . . .

Oof. Here's an observation to share - a bunch of us may have been on the wrong track assuming the number of "plain" villagers remaining. Either (or both) of the Lovers may be Wolves (or the Hamster!). There can be as many as 5(+1;the afflicted) "plain old villagers" in this game. We've killed two already. There may be only one left (if neither lover is a wolf), there may be 3 left if both lovers are wolves.

Maybe we shouldn't hang [info]girlpurple out to dry just to flush out the last "plain villager".

Agreed. With this many specials, it's really hard for them to hide, too. Is the SEER supposed to say that they are CUPID - not to save themselves from being lynched but from being eaten?

Goddamn, I thought the previous games were confusing. This one is wheels within wheels within wheels to infinity.
Not a wolf, not the werehampster. Please don't lynch me (or, for that matter, kill me in any other way).
I'll probably pick one of the two bandwagons we have going by tomorrow and vote that, but actual, you know, evidence would be great, if any comes across any :P

After reviewing and attempting some correlation on votes and comments in the first two days and scanning through today again I've got no compelling reason to think that [info]girlpurple is a wolfie and all the old reasons that she isn't still stand. Also, I agree with Mayor [info] that [info]flipperchaz and [info]perkyevil are both likely wolf candidates. It's a close vote, but the comments lean me toward:

I really don't think that Hungryandhollow is a wolf, and I think there are much better targets for lynching. A number of people have mentioned suspicions about [info]stride, but few have actually cast a vote indicating such. So, here's the second stone...

Very well, I am very much at risk. Unlikely as it way seem, I am again the HUNTER. As such, if [info]hungryandhollow is the BODYGUARD, I would prefer if y'all voted for someone else then either of us. To set a precedent, I will unvote hungryandhollow and vote perkyevil, going on the advice of [info]parzanese and [info]princeofwands.

But since my own action looks like it will lynch me, I need feedback desperately. Do you really feel as suspicious about [info]perkyevil? Going on that, she is currently my target.

Well, I'm off to work soon. I'll find out tonight how this turns out. I'd like to request that if the real bodyguard or hunter are out there that they please step forward. When people don't step forward it makes it hard not to trust the people who do.

I don't know how I got on the short list of suspects. The people on my short list are coming out as specials. I think that either stride or gpeeflat could be a were-something.
